Sinho’s PROTECTIVE BANDS provide additional protection for components that are packaged in tape and reel. It is designed to wrap around the outer layer of carrier tape to resist the compressive forces that carrier tape alone can’t withstand. There are mainly two types, standard bands and special perforated snap bands for more choices. All Sinho’s protective bands are composed of conductive polystyrene materials, and available in EIA standard carrier tape widths from 8mm to 88mm for both types. Sinho’s special perforated snap protective bands was perforated in every 1.09M long for 13” reels, every 1.25M long for 15” reels. This series bands is packed and supplied in 15” diameter reels.
