Sinho’s PS (polystyrene) conductive carrier tape offers good strength and stability over time and temperature variations for a wide range of sizes and design, in accordance with EIA-481-D standards. This material is available in a variety of thickness from 0.2mm to 0.5mm for a board range of width tape from 8mm to 104mm. The other economical alternative material PS+C (polystyrene plus carbon) perfect for standard pocket designs, is highly optimized for small pockets for widths of 8mm and 12mm. So this PS+C material is suitable for high volume carrier tape at pre-detemined standard reel lengths.

Particle forming machine is used to manufacture small 8 and 12mm carrier tape in PS+C material for large volume, and lengths up to 1000 meters, depending on the size and orientation of the device being packaged, using level-wind format packaging in 22 inches reel flange. PS conductive material utilize rotary forming processing and linear forming processing to satisfy different applications from customers’ demands, particularly engineered for complex customize pocket designs. The number of meters will fit on a given reel is conditional upon the pocket pitch (P), pocket depth (K0), and reel configuration. Both single-wind and level-wind are suitable for this material in corrugated paper and plastic reel flanges.

Shelf Life and Storage

Product should be used within 1 year from the date of manufacture. Store in its original packaging in a climate-controlled environment where temperature ranges from 0~40℃, relative humidity <65%RHF. This product is protected from direct sunlight and moisture.
