One of our clients in the USA, Sep, has requested a carrier tape for a radial capacitor. They emphasized the importance of ensuring that the leads remain undamaged during transport, specifically that they do not bend. In response, our engineering team has promptly designed a perfectly round carrier tape to meet this request.
This design concept was developed to create a pocket that closely matches the shape of the part, providing better protection for the leads within the pocket.
This is a relatively large capacitor, and its dimensions are as follows, which is why we have chosen to use a wide 88mm carrier tape.

- Body Diameter: 0.64” / 16.256mm
- Overall Length with Leads: 2.734” / 69.4436mm
