Chisel design for component bent leads problem

A component with leads typically refers to an electronic component that has wire leads or terminals for connecting to a circuit. It is commonly found in components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, and integrated circuits.These wire leads provide points for electrical connection, allowing the component to be easily connected and disconnected from a circuit.

Problem:
Customer has been having problems with bent leads and they feel a design with the “chisels” in between the body and the leads would help to secure the part in the pocket a lot better.

Solution:
Sinho reviewed the problem and developed a new custom design for it. with “Chisel” design at two sides in the pocket, when the part movement in the pocket, the leads would not touch the side and bottom of the pocket, it will prevent the leads bent any more.
